Happenings in school

On Monday, all of us had to put up our installation works or do performances at any location around the premises. The preparations for this big event just killed off our weekends. We had never done this kind of thing before, and we didn't really know what to expect at the end of it all.

For me, I spent a whole day cutting, folding and gluing paper houses for my installation work. Some of the others camped in school over the weekend to set up their stuff. But in the end, everyone's hard work paid off. There were so many types and different materials used, that it was just amazing we pushed this out during the course of only a week (maybe less).
My installation work of cubes,  cuboids and a paper house.

Some classmates setting up their stuff outside.

Some of the awesome stuff the others put up/did:

Tuesday:
Figuring out the difference between a concept and an idea.
I'm still stuck somewhere in-between.

I need to figure this out by next week...

Wednesday:
Lecture as usual.
Then the rain came.

Thursday:
Critique session for our zoo logo designs.
More awesomeness below.

A combination of my logos, together with those of Harng, Anh, and Jamie.
Friday (today):
Leaving for school in about 20 mins.
Hmm, and there's a zoo visit tomorrow.
No rain please!

Where is Number 4?

Novel to film adaptations have been either a hit or a miss in Hollywood. But that trend doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down, as yet another novel to film adaptation looks set to hit the big screens pretty soon. "I Am Number Four", a science fiction novel by Pittacus Lore, has been given the Hollywood treatment and will be officially coming out on 24th Feb in Singapore. I have never read this novel before, but the trailers for the movie have looked promising with an interest-worthy premise. Here's a synopsis:

About a week ago, the offcial Facebook page for Disney Studios Singapore launched a "Find Number 4" contest to help create some early buzz for the movie, and also, to give away exclusive movie premiums. A pretty simple one, which actually forces you to look for answers to the clues by watching the movie trailers for the film. The use of twitter and google maps was a nice touch to this contest.

Having answered the first 6 clues, it's time to answer the final clue.

Alright!

Now, it's time to check the map to see the mysterious hidden word.
Wonder what it could be..?

Well that's not a word now, is it? Hmm...

Time to submit my guess...

And Number Four has been found!
