Trip to the Botanic Gardens

Ok, I was supposed to post this last wk itself, but due to circumstances beyond my control it got pushed forward to today. Well basically, last wk saturday I was called to meet in school for my cca's oreintation ( I'm in the art and phtography club in case you're wondering..). Together with about only a handful of seniors and alot of fellow year ones, we were off to the botanic gardens to have some hands-on experimenting with the cameras themselves! Hahas, I had always wanted to get my hands on one of those expensive camera models..it sure is a dream come true!!

The one-way bus trip took abt 45 mins or so. Once we got there, we made our way pst the visitor centre towards the garden itself, occassionally stopping by to take in the whole atmosphere and all. We got to see some photography artwokrs on display which showcased quite a range of flora and fauna which i didn't know existed in the first place.

Of course, before I could start running ard the place shooting away with my camera, al of us had to partake in a bit of icebreaker games. Man, frankly I already had had enough with these games before...and trust me when i say that it was getting to be a real pain. About an hr of play, numerous collisions and battle-scars later, the seniors introduced the types of cameras we would be handling and also their varied functions. It was quite alot of info at one go, and i thought i was gonna be lost. Later, we were all split into grps of 4 to 5 and had the chance to go ard the place and start taking pictures with our new-found "toys". Along with the cameras used by the club, I brought my own too :)

One of the seniors who just loves the cameras!

En route along the walkway...

"So how does the picture look like?"

Two seniors, together with our teacher-in-charge, checking to see whether if we missed anything out along the way on the map...

Last minute packing up before leaving the place...man he's a real pro at this

and just before leaving...

Couldn't resist taking a picture of this, don't ask why...

...and with all of that done, I headed for home while the others went for lunch at tanglin mall. Boy, I reached home at 1 pm and fell asleep the next min. What a day...
